Not sure if its part of our epic but 4th piece of the staff drops from War Caller Kaavi in Bloodfields. Sounded like part of the chanter epic so I looted it.

I also found a Section of Parchment in The Hole. It's otw to Polzin Mrid. (I didn't make it to him solo, so not sure about him yet.) After you enter the old city, turn right, go to the little pool, turn left, go to the wall, turn left. Straight ahead will be a ghost mob, underneath it is a ground spawn of the Section of Parchment. (To the right of here is where Polzin Mrid is)

I verified the Parchment drop in Akheva Ruins.... 2 parches so far.

What are the names of the parchments and what do the itentify as?

SoE said there were created templates for the epic quests so all classes have to do more or less the same things(but probably in different places and different order).

Since the warriors get to collect 4 groundspawns in DS, did anyone check for instance BW for new groundspawns? Since Jeb had the 'cover', it makes sense the pages are in BW.

The "Section of Parchment"s....

They both are LORE and NO DROP, they both identify as "A section of a larger, ancient book."

Athey are ground spawns, hence not dropped by anything, but usually spawn at the feet of a static mob.

I combed the Mage epic 2.0 webiste and found a 3rd Section of Parchment in HS, i havent gone there myself yet, but apprently its in the lower level area north of the zone in, on a lower ledge halfway up the ramp to the north(wish this guy coulda been more detailed, but meh....what can ya do).

If tis is true do you guys happen to see a correlation of the area the 3 sections where found....and didnt Jeb say "unless they have been detroyed by decay and time"

AR....a Section of Parchment was found
HS....a non-confirmed Section of Parchment was found
The Hole...a Section of Parchment was found

It seems all these zones for these 3 pieces are worn-down, destroyed/aged areas.

If someone wants to help, imma start huntin and combing some zones like this ie. Veksar & .....tired brain fried

Section of parchment found on Gunthak beach -730, -340.

Confirm piece from the hole. +65, +90.
Confirm piece form HS +20, -15. Direcly down under the zone in.
Confirm AR piece. In passage south of shei room.

How was your faction with the npc you spoke to for epic? I recall having to use collaboration and even charm during first epic. Could be why he doesn't have much to say yet?

How about outside KC? or even around the entrance to Seb? or IN Seb? and CoM? not all that ruined... but eh...

I can't think of a place in Velious tho...

Maybe try Dragon Necropolis or Tower of Frozen Shadow in Velious. They are the only rundown zones I can think of in Velious and the Tower isn't all that run down.

Unrest, Befallen, Cazic Thule, City of Mist, Dalnir's Crypt, Dragon Necropolis, Grieg's End (?), Ikkinz, Inktu'ta, Kaesora (it even has a library), Katta Castellum, Kedge Keep, Kerafym's Lair, Kurn's Tower, Upper and Lower Guk, Mistmoore (more libraries), Nagena, Sebilis, Qeynos Aqueducts, Skyshrine, Ssraeshza, Uqua, Veksar, Velkator's, and Vex Thal.

Btw, can we try to eliminate the sigs in this thread? Everyone has done a wonderful job and I applaud your creativity. But this thread is going to get quite large. Scrolling through 2 to 3 inch tall signatures for a a 1/8 inch post just doesn't make sense.

They've stated that the 1.5 won't require a raidforce, and it's gonna be open to pretty much everyone... so using that, I'd wager that we can cut out Ikkinz, Inktu'ta, Kerafym's Lair, Uqua, and Vex Thal...

and as far as "run down" and "ancient" goes, I think that we could eliminate some of those as well... Grieg's End, Katta, Kedge, Kurn's, Mistmoore, Qeynos, Skyshrine, Ssra, and Velk's...

which leaves us with Unrest, Befallen, CT (shudder), CoM, Dalnir's, Dragon Nec, Kaesora (good one! we even had to go there for our first epic!), Upper & Lower Guk, Nagena, Seb, Veksar...

of those, I think Veksar is gonna be a winner, maybe even outside Veksar in gobbie ruins around LoIO... Unrest & Befallen both fit the profile too. Isn't someone already checking around Veksar for ground spawns?

I got tome from Jeb today, on the way there I found 2 new NPC's in OT and SF neither of which would speak to me after I hailed them. I did not find any ground spawns in BW but am going back to look again. Will look around SF as well ... it seems to be somewhat in decay as well.

I agree with Mezzum...I'm not sure if these parch's are our pages. But what else can we do but trial and error?

However, the page in Gunthak is confirmed also...It's near the middle of the beach inside a shipwreck. Mostly undead around, so use IvU. Only one or two regular mobs but you can maneuver around them.

Yeah, it would be a total bummer if those sections ended up being not for us. So far, sections found are from Howling Stones, Hole, Akheva Ruins, Gunthak. (Gunthak being the only non-dungeon zone). Note also that all four are from different regions of the world.
HS - Kunark
Hole - Odus
AR - Luclin
Gunthak - Broken Skull Rock.

I have a hunch that remaining 6 sections will be found in:
Antonica
Velious
Faydwer
Planes of Power
Taelosia
Omens zones

I think we can exclude following zones:
Veeshan's Peak
Sleeper's Tomb
Vex Thal
Tower of Solusek Ro/EPs/Time
GoD... might include KT, but I am inclined to think that 1.5 won't involve KT.

On Antonica, the likely candidates are: CT, Sol B/C, Lower Guk, Permafrost.

On Velious: ToFS, CC, DN, Velks.

On Faydwer: Mistmoore, Unrest.

Planes: could be any Tier 1-3 place, including Tactics, where a single group can reasonably get into. I gravitate towards CoD or BoT.

Taelosia: Gotta be Qinimi or Barindu.

OoW: no idea yet.

OK. take the zones that were listen ealier on as being "Changed" and search them for ground spawns. Might be the best hope. Once we collect all 10 and verified the combine. I can change the first post and to showing where teh grounds spawns are
